EXPERIMTENT/TEST 2023 October West Virginia CIC® Certification Prep Workshop

Welcome to the 2023 October West Virginia CIC® Certification Prep Workshop!

Course Overview

This comprehensive workshop includes guidance and support from a CIC®-certified instructor(s) and access to the APIC Learning System for CIC. Your experienced faculty will build upon the foundation you have already established through your studies, guiding you through interactive discussions and activities as well as sample test questions. With the online reading materials and study tools found in the APIC Learning System, you will be able to identify your areas of strength and build on them, while also pinpointing areas where you need further study in preparation for the exam.

How to Access Your Online Course Work

  • Use this link to access your course work, including the pre-test, course modules, and your final exam. Before you arrive in Denver, we recommend that you complete the pre-test under the "Assess" tab in your learning account. If you are unable to complete the pre-test before the course begins that is ok, you will have (1) calendar year after the course ends to complete all of the required course work.
  • To communicate with your fellow workshop attendees use the Discussion tab.

Tips on how to Navigate the Online Learning Platform

  • You can find the workbooks and agenda for this course under the Agenda and Workbooks tab on your Online Learning Dashboard. The workbooks are PDF versions of the PowerPoint slides that will be used throughout the live course.
    • Please note: The PowerPoint slide decks are not included in your printed material that will be provided to you when you arrive. If you would like these slide decks printed you are welcome to do so, but it will be at your own expense.
  • Once the 3-day workshop wraps up, complete the Post-Course Evaluation under the Coursework tab to claim your Certificate of Completion for attending the live course.
  • Once you have completed all required course work (the pre-test, all online modules, and the final test) you will come back to this site to upload proof that you have completed all required learning material.
