Do you want to write a better abstract? Jumping into the abstract world may be intimidating to Infection Preventionists. As leaders of a multisite acute care academic health system, coaching a novice team in the abstract process was important to promote professional growth and development aligning with the APIC competency model. Training a team on successfully writing an abstract allowed growth, engagement, empowerment, and collaboration.
